Originally constructed in 1860 and now a listed building, the attractive rustic structure of the Courtyard has recently been converted into eight individual apartments. All have earned a four-star rating from the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and each one has been designed very much in sympathy with the warmth and strength of the original building materials. In recognition of this sensitive development the Courtyard has won an RICS commendation for regeneration as well as a prestigious Northern Ireland BA Tourism award.

Every self-catering apartment within the Courtyard has its own character and style with some suitable for use by disabled visitors, another having a children's loft and sleeping options ranging from singles to those large enough for six people.

The Courtyard was awarded "Best Cottage" in County Fermanagh for 2002 by Rural Cottage Holidays Ltd.

The Courtyard was awarded "Best Cottage" in Northern Ireland for 2001 by Rural Cottage Holidays Ltd.

The Courtyard won the British Airways Award for Best Accommodation in 1998.

The Courtyard was Highly Commended by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors for Best Regeneration Project in 1999.
